Meet Our Brewmasters of 2024
The brew master at HUDL Brewing Company in Las Vegas is Joe Cuozzo.
Joe has been a significant figure in the craft beer scene since the early 2000s and continues to expand the craft beer culture at HUDL having recently brewed the "Final Frontier".
HUDL Brewing has earned several awards for their craft beers. Notably, "Sweet Chai O’ Mine" won the Bronze Medal in the Herb and Spice Beer category at the 2024 World Beer Cup.
This beer was a collaboration with local roving brewer Kyle Weniger, also known as Juxta Nomad.
Tom Collins has a passion for creating unique and high-quality beers and he is the brew master at Third Eye Brewing Company.
Third Eye is an award-winning brewery located in Sharonville, Ohio. They are known for their experimental approach to brewing.
Most recently, Tom brewed Star Trek's "Powers of Illusion" Talosian Lager.
The Star Trek Powers of Illusion - Talosian Lager was released on October 18, 2024, in collaboration with the Cincinnati Comic Expo and the Federation of Beer. It features Galaxy Hops, giving it a unique twist on the traditional lager style.
The Interstellar Brew Engineer for the Federation of Beer, Vern Raincock, enjoys beaming in themes and styles of beers and encourages each brewer to mash in a unique episode that pays homage to Local Canon, sourcing local malt and hops while leveraging the unique water profile from the region.
The Federation of Beer's mandate is to brew and support local independent craft brewers throughout the "Alpha Quadrant".
The Federation of Beer is a member of the "Brewers Alliance". The organization is a buying cooperative and the Federation of Beer that was founded on the principles of liberty, equality, collaboration and progress. These foundations are in lock steop with the guiding principles of the United Federation of Planets.
In 2022, Vern Raincock co-founded the Brew for Ukraine fundraiser with Yuri Zastavny, owner of Pravda Beer Theatre in Lviv Ukraine. Within 6 months over $10 million was donated to refugee relief agencies by over 700 brewers from around the world who mashed in a batch of "Putin is a Dick" (Puti Huylo).
